Alice in Wonderland and other such news

For any of my friends who have known me for a very long time and are looking for a surprise about me, here it is. I love to, point of minor obsession, Alice in Wonderland of any kind. I have read the books by Lewis Carrol, I have seen every variation of every Alice movie ever made. No surprise that I went to the midnight showing of Tim Burton's take, with two friends, one who wanted to see the movie and the other who was not such a big Alice fan. Needless to say I loved, loved, loved the movie, every last second of it and I intend to own it on DVD when it is released.
Work is still very busy, spring sports have just finished try-outs and softball and baseball had their first games today. Sadly both varsity teams lost but hey it's pre-season, it doesn't count yet.
Grad school is continuing to kick my butt, I am trying to remain positive and think of the great end results. There are days it is quite trying.
I turned 25 on Feb 27. Thanks so much to everyone for the Quarter Century birthday love.
I am beyond excited for Worlds with former Angelzz for Worlds, it is keeping me going.

A brand new year

So here it is, the year 2010 has arrived. So what am I going to use as my New Years resolutions? Well let me start with this, I hate resolutions, no one sticks to them and why do you have to wait until the new year to make a resolution? I think if you want to change something then you should change it when you want to change it.
So I am not making an official resolutions, however I am going to make some changes.
First: I work too much so I am going to make more time for my family and friends. They ask for one or two days a month so I don't think it is too much to give them some time.
Second: My workout buddies and I have been going strong, well until Christmas came around, but we're back on track now and I love working out. Complaining about Dreya and Tony makes the work-outs far more fun.
So for now I'm sticking to it and as the year progress's there will most deffinitly be more changes for the better and we'll see how these go.

Remember, remember the 5th of November

It's November now, I have a very full plate right now and I am soo thankful for it.
Nothing extremely exciting happened November 5th, it was an ordinary day, just an ordinary day, but it was a day that made me realize it's almost Christmas and this is my favorite time of year.
It's cold and windy but there has been no substanstial snow yet, it will come and then it will really be my favorite time of year.
So until it snows here are my updates for the past few months; still employed with Salt Lake Regional Medical. I am still the ATC-L at EAST, and I love it most days. I am preforming in the ice show Alyssa is directing, it's a small part but still performing. I finally bought a new car, I know everyone was soo fond of the Neon but it's gone now and my Forester has replaced it. I went back to school to get my Master's in Healthcare Admin and Education and I am working on getting my alternative teaching certificate so I can start teaching at EAST. Like I said before, a very full plate.

Crazy Working!!!

I just got the job of my dreams, for now, the job of my dreams for a jumping off point to start my career.
I LOVE what I do, otherwise I think I would have quit by now.
So I am managing this crazy busy schedule right now, I am the Certified Athletic Trainer for 2 different high schools right now. I am also still working for the PT clinic and the restraunt. Like I said crazy busy schedule.
Go figure though, when I am out of control busy like this I am happy. I am a workaholic, hell I am married to my job, but there are those of us out there.
I think the very best part about what I do right now is that I get to run my new school how I see fit. I am so excited. This is actually a huge opportunity so that makes it even better.

My list of Things That Must Go!

There are some things out there that drive everyone crazy, well here are mine

1. People who don't use thier blinkers, they were invented for a reason!
2. 10% tips, I am a waitress and not a bad one either, 10% must go!

There are more but at the moment I can't think of any of them.

I thought of more
1a. Cars that get terrible gas milage with gas as expensive as it is.
2b. Boyfriends, relationships suck.
To be continued.....
